VegaReview is a software discovery and editorial platform that publishes reviews, comparisons, alternatives, and category rankings for software buyers. We don't have user accounts or sign-in. This policy covers the ways we handle personal data.
1. If you buy a package on our pricing page
Before checkout, our pricing page asks for your full name, designation, product website, and email, then redirects you to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record, to pay. Dodo collects your billing details directly and processes the payment under Dodo Payments' own privacy policy. VegaReview has no server — the details you enter are sent only to Dodo as part of your order, and we look up new orders directly in our Dodo dashboard to follow up on your coverage. VegaReview never receives or stores your card details.
2. If you email us about your product
If you email support@vegareview.com with a question before buying, or to get your product reviewed, compared, or featured, we collect whatever you send us — typically your name, email address, and details about your product — and use it only to write, publish, and follow up on your coverage.
3. If you subscribe to our newsletter
Our newsletter is hosted and operated by Substack (a third-party provider) at vegareview.substack.com. When you subscribe, your email address is collected and stored by Substack under their own privacy policy, not on VegaReview's servers.
4. Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as pages viewed and general traffic patterns) via cookies. This data isn't tied to your name or email address.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep order and email correspondence about your review, comparison, or placement for as long as needed to publish and maintain it. Email us at any time to request that we delete correspondence we hold about you.
